April

Hey there Nevada! Can you believe its April already?! The school year is close to a wrap up, but that doesn’t mean student council is! I know everyone is full of great ideas they received at State Conference and ready to apply them in their schools. I love the energy and high school spirit that is always brought back from student council conferences and I encourage you all to not let it fade away. This month as councils get ready for Prom, end of the year assemblies, senior activities and more, keep what you gained from the conference in the front of your mind. It’s not too late to reach out to others, raise school spirit, and find new opportunities to be a leader.

I’m so excited to begin working with the new student body officers and state board this month as we prepare for this next school year. We all have so many great ideas and goals and I can’t wait to officially put them into action! Once again, thank you to all those who supported me and I look forward to getting to know the councils and presidents as the year progresses. I wish you all luck on your upcoming events and have a happy April!
