“Here at Clark we have a special committee called the NASC Committee, responsible for communicating with NASC, informing our council of events, and ensuring we qualify for the Silver Star Award. The main purpose of this committee is to encourage our younger members into taking an active role in NASC events.”

Alannah G. (Clark High School)

“Club Liaisons! In my council’s outreach committee, every single person is a liaison to a set amount of clubs on campus. Their job is to be the contact person for that club so that way they are aware of any upcoming events that they can participate in or be shouted out at. This idea was put in place to have better communication between the clubs on campus and the student council and to give the clubs ample opportunities to advertise themselves and to have a deeper, one-on-one connection between the clubs and someone in the student council!”

Kaitlyn M. (Somerset Academy Losee)

“In our school we want to try an involve the younger kids more into things such as kid dances or letting them join highschool assemblys since there the new generation ”

Merecedez M. (Carlin High School)

“My idea is to have some sort of help from the Student Council for the upcoming freshman, helping them out so then they are less stressed on the first day of high school.”

Preslee M. (Oasis Academy)

“So for hoco we had a spirit week but I think we should have more iconic spirit days and like posters that you can interact with like a senior stand out day but like for each grade”

Jessalyn G. (North Valleys High School)

“I suggest that we have more parades to bring community more together.”

Braegan H. (Spring Creek High School)

“If you are struggling in ways to include teachers into the school community my school recently started a tradition where we play assembly games with the teachers and if they win they get the “turbo toilet” which is a decorated toilet seat that gets passed around as teachers win games or other competitions!”
